Dr. Ben Hartwig is an experienced trainer, scientist, and actor. He is regularly active on stage as part of the ensemble of the best known improvised theater company Springmaus in Germany and the professional cast of ImproBubble in Brussels. Dr. Hartwig founded Neuroblitz – Science, Communication, Improvisation after working at the Max-Planck Institute in Cologne for eight years. With Neuroblitz, he merges science and improvised theater in innovative workshops and seminars to create inspiring talks and engaging training. Dr. Hartwig has received multiple awards as a speaker and actor. In addition, he has published and contributed to multiple publications in the areas of epigenetics and genetics. He is fluent in German and English and conversational in French and Romanian. Dr. Hartwig has worked with the European Institutions since 2018 and has facilitated training in Europe, Asia, Australia, and North America. About the training

Description of the course:
This course is about creating an understanding of personal resilience and the resilience of
others. Participants will learn about dealing with their own stressors and drivers. We will
discuss impulses to grow resilience in three different ways – instrumental, cognitive and
regenerative. The training will be highly interactive and includes many practical tools to
integrate into participants’ work and private lives.
Duration: 1 day
Methodology:
• The training is based on applied improvisation and thus highly interactive. The
participants will have many opportunities to practice techniques to use and grow
resilience in various situations and receive feedback during and after exercises.
• After the training program, the trainer will provide an overview of the exercises and
materials used.
