Catherine Mattice Zundel, MA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, is a Strategic HR Consultant who assists organizations in building positive cultures. For over a decade, she has assisted nonprofits, universities, small businesses, Fortune 500’s, government agencies, and many other types of businesses in a variety of industries in delivering a culture of respect and dignity to their workforce.
Catherine is a widely recognized thought-leader in HR, and she is passionate about employers’ responsibility to create the opportunity and environment for employees to thrive - it shows in her sheer number of conferences and publications.
She has appeared on/in NPR, CNN, USA Today, Time.com and more as an expert, she has published articles in a wide variety of venues and is a regular contributor to Forbes.
Catherine has authored or co-authored three books, the first of which has a foreword by leadership guru, Ken Blanchard, who called it, “the most comprehensive and valuable handbook on the topic” of workplace bullying. Catherine is also one of the founders of the National Workplace Bullying Coalition and its past-president. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in organizational communication from San Diego State University.
