Why LEGO SERIOUS PLAY
In the mid 90’s LEGO was facing many challenges due to the rise of video games. They needed a tool to improve their strategy and creativity. LEGO worked closely with academics specialized in organizational strategy and developed LEGO SERIOUS PLAY. A methodology that uses LEGO bricks at its core but is so much more than just building LEGO. LEGO SERIOUS PLAY is a facilitation methodology that makes sure all voices are heard during meetings and workshops.
We first build and then we share.
We build shared knowledge and understanding of the problems and challenges that the organization is facing.
We share a common vision and a list of possible solutions to these challenges. We believe that leaders do not have all the answers, people want to contribute and be part of something bigger and share their knowledge.
LEGO SERIOUS PLAY taps into that part of our brain that keeps the subconscious the knowledge we all have.
